Round two in my recent submissions for the Suicide Diaries series. This one features my subject (well, the one in my head) Shelley (not Shelle...as the damn title might suggest) in a white-wedding-style dress spattered and stained with blood from her various self-mutilations (full-view really helps to catch a lot of the detail). She meets her end with a familiar razorblade to the wrists. Note the symbolism regarding physical image, shallow emotions, hiding behind a mask...

"This method is only 50% effective though, and obviously it hurts like hell. The major problem with it is that when you slit your wrists, you usually end up severing the tendons too. Then when you try to slit your other wrist, you find that the other hand doesn't quite work anymore."
